Heads Up!

(We were extremely tight for time, and knocked out a quick prototype, developing our idea from last Sunday evening, to Monday of the submission date - we hope you like our prototype and concept idea for a local multiplayer boulder battle game!)

Description

Bash your buddies to rubble, in an all-out boulder brawl! Compete against friends in local co-op, by building up momentum as a large heap of cobble, and crashing against your rocky foes to be the last boulder standing.

Controls

• Player 1: Keyboard/Mouse - WASD to Move, F to Dash, Space to Jump, Mouse to Look
• Player 2: Gamepad - Left Joystick to Move, Right Trigger to Dash, Button South to Jump, Right Joystick to Look
• Player 3: Gamepad - Left Joystick to Move, Right Trigger to Dash, Button South to Jump, Right Joystick to Look
• Player 4:  Gamepad - Left Joystick to Move, Right Trigger to Dash, Button South to Jump, Right Joystick to Look

Story

The statue of Ozymandias has fallen, leaving only the rocky remains of his feet in the sand. Now Ozymandias, the ruler of Egypt, has requested four of the finest rocksmiths in Egypt to deliver him a rock worthy of his likeness. To truly test the durability of each rock, the four delivered clusters of rock must undergo a series of trials where only one rock remains - this rock becoming the next statue of Ozymandias! ... Until it all crumbles apart again...

Future Of Our Prototype

We have loads of ideas in mind with how we can take this prototype and develop it into a full release. We hope to create a local multiplayer lobby system, where you can play games with just 2, 3 or 4 players at a time! We hope to create multiple fun levels and game modes using a round system, where a final champion is crowned. Speed UI, power-ups cosmetics and achievements would be great to add to make the game feel more rewarding. We also would love to incorporate our story more closely with the game style, with fun 3d models, 2d art and music. Local multiplayer can be expanded to online, to appeal to large audiences who prefer online play, instead of couch play.
